Central Advocacy Partners (CAP) Survivors Project

The project helps women and girls with learning disabilities or autism, who live in Forth Valley and have or are experiencing domestic abuse to have their voice heard.

People First (Scotland)

Justice services and support

Victim’s rights in Scotland: easy read leaflet

Publication for people with learning difficulties describes how victims of crime should be treated within the criminal justice system, and what information, help and support they should receive.

Appropriate Adult Services

An appropriate adult can help victims to understand what is happening and to communicate with the Police. They cannot give legal advice.
